LGU Trade Fair (Tabuan sa Baragatan) June 1 - 30
The LGU Tabuan is an event where local government units can display and sell their local produce and products and at the same time highlight their tourism destinations whether man-made, natural, cultural, historical or special type. Each local government will be provided with a booth where they can exhibit and sell their products. |

Private Sector Tabuan (Private Trade Fair) May 16 – June 30 Spearheaded by the Palawan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the Provincial Government of Palawan, this is an event where businessmen and other entrepreneurs in the province can sell their merchandise and product lines |
Garden Show - June 1 - 30
The Garden show shall feature orchids and ornamentals, flora, ferns and endemic plants of Palawan. Open to individuals, cooperatives, non-governmental organizations, local government units in the Province. Plant growers can sell ornamental plants, fruit bearing tree seedlings and others. |

BIMP-EAGA Investment Forum and Exhibit PEDCO initiated activity to strengthen Palawan’s position in the EAGA Region. PEDCO will host the forum and allow PEDCO members to match their businesses with investors from the EAGA region and neighboring countries. Tourism, real estate, livestock, small enterprises, fishery and agriculture and other products will be showcased in an exhibit. |

Institutional Booths (June 12 – 23) Selected government institutions will be given space to showcase their programs for the information of Baragatan goers |
Float Parade (June 12)
Floats of Local government units, non-government organizations, schools, companies and other institutions will depict the significant events/ development in their locality or organization in relation to Baragatan and be paraded around the Province’s capital together with other floats. Competing floats will be judged according to: Relevance/Conformity with the theme; Originality/Authenticity; Creativity/Design/Harmony; Attractiveness and Punctuality. |
Pántiguan sa Baragatan (June 12)
From the Cuyunon word “antigu”, which means seasoned, knowledgeable or versatile, Pántiguan is a convergence of skills and talents of the different local government units of Palawan showcasing its town festivity, culture and tradition. Joining the Float Parade, local chief executive lead their contingent in a parade dance contest promoting their local tourism. This is an event where local and foreign visitors will have the opportunity to have a glimpse of all the cultural festivities in the province as contingents bring their own festivals from their municipalities and perform dances along the street to add color and gaiety to the opening parade. |
Mutya ng Palawan 2008, the Search for Palawan’s prettiest (Talent Night: June 21; Coronation Night: June 22)
One of the highlights of Baragatan sa Palawan, the winning Mutya ng Palawan, can take home more than P30,000.00 in cash prize plus the chance to be the Province’s Ambassador of Goodwill. Much-awaited and a crowd drawer, this year’s search is expected to yield a bevy of Palawan beauties with their own innate charm, grace and elegance. The talent night is on June 21 and the Coronation Night is on June 22 |
Saraotan sa Dalan (June 23)
Saraotan sa Dalan (Streetdancing) is an event that highlights the Baragatan sa Palawan. Saraotan is anchored in ati-ati, being an element of Palawan culture that is in keeping with the true essence of streetdancing. To elicit the participation of the municipalities, an incentive amounting to P50,000.00 will be given to each participating contingent. |
